Northern New Jersey Chapter of Women In The Wind

General Information

.

Welcome!

We are The Riding Divas, Northern New Jersey Chapter of Women in the Wind.

As a women's motorcycle club we strive to:

* Educate our members on motorcycle safety and maintenance
* Unite women motorcyclists
* Promote a positive image to the public of women on motorcycles
* RIDE!!!!!!

One of the purposes of the Riding Divas is to educate members on rider safety and bike maintenance.  While it is not mandatory, we suggest that all riders take a Riders Safety Course, and if possible, become a member of the AMA (American Motorcyclist Association).  We require all members, and anyone riding with our group, to maintain a safe vehicle and follow safe riding standards.  From time to time we offer workshops and seminars.  Check the Events page for upcoming workshops.

More about the AMA

Founded in 1924, the AMA has an unparalleled history of pursuing, protecting and promoting the interests of the world's largest and most dedicated group of motorcycle enthusiasts. The AMA focuses on rights, riding and racing through its government relations work, by sanctioning road and off-road riding activities and overseeing professional and amateur racing events.

In addition, the AMA is the sole American affiliate of the
Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the international governing body for motorcycle sport and touring activity.

The AMA’s headquarters in Pickerington, Ohio, is also home to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum. The museum honors those who have contributed notably to our sport – be it racers like Dick Mann, designers like Craig Vetter, or publishers like Floyd Clymer -- in the Hall of Fame and also presents rotating exhibits of interest to motorcyclists and the general public in its three galleries.

If it's motorcycling, the AMA is very likely involved in it.  For more information, visit: http://www.ama-cycle.org.
